Obituary of Louise (Parsons) Gordon

Death Notice as submitted to Boston Globe published on Friday Oct 19, 2012 Gordon—Of Peabody, formerly of Revere, Louise (Parsons) Gordon, 91, of Brooksby Village, Peabody, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, after a brief illness. Wife of the late Archibald “Archie” Gordon, daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Gillespie) Parsons, and sister of the late Helen Jensen and Wallace Parsons. Mrs. Gordon lived for more than 75 years in the house on South Hancock St. in Revere that her father built. She is survived by 12 nieces and nephews and was a doting great-aunt and great-great aunt to dozens of adults and children. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her Memorial Service held on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 10:30 am in the Garden Room at Renaissance Gardens in Brooksby Village, Peabody. Family members will receive visitors until 3 pm. Funeral planned with Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Gordon’s memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center Medalist Program, c/o Joslin Medalist Office, Room 378, 1 Joslin Place, Boston MA 02215
