Obituary of Sister Therese Gerard Kleh, SND

Sister Therese Gerard was born Gerardine M. Kleh, in Boston, on September 10, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph F. and Theresa A. (Sheehan) Kleh. Sister Therese Gerard entered the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur at Waltham on August 13, 1945, and professed her Perpetual Vows on July 30, 1953. Sr. Therese Gerard’s ministries were in Brighton, Hudson, Beverly, Emmanuel College, So. Boston, Dorchester, Lynn, Africa, Kenya, Weston, Stoneham, Roxbury and Ipswich. Sister is survived by her many Sisters of Notre Dame family and cousins. Sister Therese Gerard’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Our Lady Queen Chapel, 30 Jeffreys Neck Rd., Ipswich. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Sisters of Notre Dame. A Prayer Service will be held at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, 30 Jeffreys Neck Rd., Ipswich, MA 01938.
