Obituary of Joseph M. Bellino

Joseph M. Bellino PEABODY—Joseph M. Bellino, 55, beloved husband of Elizabeth (Gaye) Bellino of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Tuesday November 13, 2012 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, following an extended illness. Born in Somerville, he was the son of Vicenzo Bellino of Italy and the late Antonietta (Stum) Bellino. He lived in Somerville and Medford in his youth where he attended schools. He completed his education in Sicily, Italy. He lived in Connecticut, then in Woburn for 21 years before recently moving to Peabody. Mr. Bellino enlisted in the United States Navy from 1978 to 1986. He continued to work for the government with the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department for five years until 1990, and then completed his role in a Government Career as a Postal Employee in Woburn. Joseph and his family are proud owners of the Super Soapbox Laundromat in Stoneham for the last 15 years. He loved dedicating his life to his family, and was always supportive of their accomplishments. He will be dearly missed by familyl and friends. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Gaye) Bellino of Peabody, with whom he shared 26 years of marriage; a daughter Rose-Antoinette Bellino of Peabody; his father Vicenzo Bellino of Mineo, Sicily, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday at 12 Noon from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St. Peabody. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4 – 8 P.M. Entombment will be in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02445.
