Obituary of Michael T. Dolney

Michael T. Dolney, 92, of Peabody, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Pilgrim House Rehab and Nursing Center,Peabody after a long illness. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to Dorothy (Anzalone) Dolney. Michael was born in Peabody Ma on April 26, 1920, the son of the late Theodosius and Magdalena (Jarema) Dolney and had resided here all his life. He had been a veteran of WW II serving with the US Army Air Corps as an airplane Hydraulic mechanic prior to his discharge in 1946, He was a graduate of Northeastern University in 1952. Michael had been an insurance adjuster for over 35 years mostly with the Continental Insurance Co of Boston. He later was a Security Guard for many years with the Celandon Company of Boston. He enjoyed reading and watching the CNN keeping up to date on the latest news. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, a Son, Michael T. Dolney Jr. and a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dolney all of Peabody. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday , December 18, 2012 from 9:15 to 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility with a Service to be held there at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
