Obituary of Robert C. "Bob" Paras

Robert C. Bob Paras 62 years, of Peabody died unexpectedly on Wednesday at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. Mr. Paras was born June 10, 1943 in Lynn son of the late Peter and Ernestine (Mercier) Paras. He was raised and educated in Peabody graduating from Peabody High School class of 1961 and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Paras was the owner of Paras Auto Body in Peabody for many years and was also an avid Hot Rod and Custom Car enthusiast. He is survived by 2 sons, David M. Paras and Daniel R. Dan Paras, a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth E. Liz Coigley all of Peabody; his beloved granddaughter, Emily V. Paras of Peabody; his long time fiancée, Maryann Stone of Peabody, his former wife, Janice (Puleo) Paras of Peabody and his lifelong friends, Joe Craigen, Paul Costa both of Peabody, Billy Thomas, Jay McGlaughlin both of Hamilton and Christy Massios of Middleton. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3 - 6 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., location Peabody. As per his request there will be no funeral services. Cremation will follow on Monday.
