Obituary of Joseph Paratore

Joseph (Joe) Paratore, 48, of Wenham died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers,MA surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home,82 Lynn St.,Peabody MA on Friday, December 21, 2012, from 4:00 – 8:00. Funeral service will be held at St. John’s the Baptist Church in Peabody on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Joe was born April 25, 1964 in Norwood,MA to Joseph and Anne Marie Paratore. He is survived by his wife, Kim (Lucas) and his sons Lucas and Kevin. The couple was married on June 5, 1988. Joe went to high school at Franklin High School and graduated in 1982. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Science from Fitchburg State College. He worked for over 25 years at several high tech companies where he earned great success. Most recently Joe was a co-founder of Paydiant. Very charitable to organizations including The Progeria Research Foundation, St. John’s Prep, & Shore Country Day School, Joe enjoyed the beach, music, funny hats, fleece, lacrosse, snowboarding, watching movies and sports, his dogs, asking everyone if he was a good dancer, and most of all; spending time with his family. Joe lived to love…and loved to live. Joe is also survived by his mother and father Anne Marie & Joseph; siblings Maryanne & Tom Talpey of Stow, Christine & Jack Fraser of Walpole, Michael & Kristy of Acton and David & Lisa of Warren, RI; in laws Nancy & Henry Lucas, Jr and Hank & Elissa Lucas of Peabody and Kristen Lucas of Worcester; and his 12 loving nieces and nephews.
