Obituary of Yolanda (Del Rossi) Pyburn

Yolanda (Del Rossi) Pyburn, 85, of Peabody died on Christmas morning at the NSMC - Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late William Pyburn. She was born in Wakefield,MA on April 10, 1927, the daughter of the late Sabatino and Mary Del Rossi and was raised there graduating from Wakefield High School. She had resided in Peabody for the past 60 years. Yolanda had been a waitress for over 20 years working in various restaurants including the Yankee and the Palm Garden Restaurants in Peabody prior to her retirement. She enjoyed going out dancing with her husband, cooking, Reading and traveling to warmer climates but what she cherished most was being with her family. She is survived by three sons Dennis and his wife Ellen Pyburn of Danvers, Robin Pyburn and his companion, Ronnie Alt both of Ft.Worth, Texas and Dana Pyburn and Carol of Peabody; two daughters, Patricia and her husband Alexander Elia of Quincy and Pamela and her husband Richard Cahill of Lynn, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
