Obituary of Arvin Kennex Pasion Hernando
Arvin Kennex Pasion Hernando, 26, of Salem, died Monday afternoon at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness.
Born in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was the son of Valentin and Elizabeth (Pasion) Hernando of Salem. He immigrated with his family to the United States at age 9 and has lived in Salem ever since.
He attended Salem Public Schools and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 2005. While in high school, Arvin played on the football team and was captain of the tennis team. He also studied martial arts and achieved a red belt.
Prior to his illness, Arvin was employed at the Lafayette Nursing Home in Marbleheadas a cook for five years.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Aeron and Allen Hernando both of Salem, his son Aiden Michael L. Hernando of Salem along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
