Obituary of Michael D. Puzzo

Michael D. Puzzo, 47, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday morning at his home. He was the long time companion of Jackie Conway of Peabody. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gwen (Lee) Puzzo. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of the Peabody Vocational School. After high school, Michael enlisted with the United States Army and served for three years before he was honorably discharged in 1985. After his military service was over, Michael was employed as a machine operator and truck driver and was a member of the local 25 teamsters union. Michael enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, but his greatest joy was spending time with his son Michael and his extended family and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Besides his loving son Michael J. Puzzo of Peabody, he is survived by his brothers and sisters, Nick and Anthony Puzzo of Peabody, Joanne and her husband Philip Pierce of Lynn and Vicki Nazzaro of Middleton, his long time companion son, Michael Conway, of Peabody and by his step son Patrick Carney, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Caroline (Carney) Puzzo. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. There are no funeral services planned at this time.
