Obituary of Linda J. Lloyd

Linda J. Lloyd PEABODY—Linda J. Lloyd, 53, died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday February 16, 2013. Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Morris) Lloyd. She grew up in Peabody and was a longtime resident of the city. She graduated from Peabody High School, and lived in Danvers for 10 years. Ms. Lloyd enjoyed children, and had a special gift in caring for them which also she derived much satisfaction as a Residence Supervisor with the Lakeside School in Peabody for 25 years until it closed in 2006. Linda enjoyed vacations, and would be happiest in hot weather relaxing by the water. She like reading books of all kinds, older country & western music, and always remembered people with homemade cakes on their birthdays. She is survived by her companion Scott Peura of Danvers; a brother John Lloyd, Jr. and a sister Kathleen Lloyd both of Peabody and a sister Patricia Saal of Myrtle Beach, SC; a special nephew she called her “Sweetie” Alexander Saal of Peabody, and many friends and was grateful for the children with whom she came in contact in her career. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday February 22, 2013 from 5 – 7 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 7 PM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the ceremony.
