Obituary of Dorothy M. "Dottie" (Costanza) Paris

Dorothy M. “Dottie” (Costanza) Paris, 85, beloved wife of Ferdinando J. Paris of Peabody, died on March 6, 2013 at Brooksby Village Continuing Care with her loving family at her side. Dottie was born in Everett, on November 11, 1927, daughter James and Margaret (Frangonie) Costanza. She was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School in 1944. Following her marriage she and her husband resided in Saugus before moving to Peabody in 1984. Dottie began her working career as a Bookkeeper for Wards in Boston and several other companies leaving to raise her family. She later returned to work in the same capacity at Superior Offset in Saugus until her retirement in 1989. Dottie was a loving mother who devoted her life to creating a home for her family. Later she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren supporting them with their activities and was so proud of their accomplishments. She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the world. In addition to her husband with whom she shared 64 years of marriage, Dottie is survived by her children and their spouses, Frederick J. and Joan Paris of Wilbraham, James J. Paris and Lisa J. Pantapas of Peabody, and Mary E. and John Cascio of Topsfield; her grandchildren, Daniel Cascio of Medford, Laura Cascio of Topsfield, John-Michael Cascio of Somerville, Nicole Paris-Kro and Kafui Kro, and Jessica Paris all of Springfield; 3 great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jayden and Annalise Paris-Kro, and many cousins. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody.
