Obituary of Nickolas T Qirjazi

Nickolas T. Qirjazi, 17, of Peabody, was born on September 13, 1995 and he passed away March 3, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a brief illness. Born in Salem, he was the son of Theofani and Elaine (Valaskatzis) Qirjazi of Peabody. He attended Seem North and East in Stoneham and for the past couple years at the Kevin O’Grady School in Beverly. He loved attending these schools and earned the nickname “Handsome Boy”. Nickolas loved watching sports, cartoons, and children’s movies with his uncle Teddy. His favorite shows were Barney and Scooby-doo. Some of his favorite activities included swimming, playing the piano, drums, and reading books. He loved to go out with his sister Hariklea and her friends. He loved all his cousins and was happy when he was with them. He was so full of life and always smiling and a very sweet boy. He enjoyed giving high-fives to everyone. Besides his loving mother and father, he is survived by his two sisters, Hariklea and Argero Qirjazi of Peabody, his maternal grandparents, Nick Valaskatzis of CA and Argyro Valaskatzis of FL., and Nickolas Qirjazi of Greece, and also by several aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends in America, Greece, and Albania. He was the grandson of the late Hariklea Qirjazi. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by Services at 10:00 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Paleologos St., Peabody. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. Burial will be in CedarGroveCemetery, Peabody.
