Obituary of Mahlon C. Richardson

Mahlon C. Richardson PEABODY—Mahlon C. Richardson, 69, beloved husband of Frances (Rydzewski) Maher Richardson of Peabody, died peacefully on Saturday morning at the Devereux House Nursing Home in Marblehead following an extended illness. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Mahlon W. and Marie (Labbe) Richardson. He grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School. He then attended Bentley College. Mr. Richardson worked as a Quality Control Specialist with General Electric in Lynn before retiring 16 years ago. He enjoyed playing golf and taking many trips with friends. He was a past member of the Crystal Cribbage Club in Lynn and the Greater Lynn Church Bowling League for many years. A devoted family man, he leaves his wife Frances (Maher) Richardson of Peabody, with whom he shared 41years of marriage; his children Rick Maher of Winthrop, Bill Maher & his wife Susan of Swampscott, Judy Pica & her husband Steve of Peabody, and Kathryn Bennett of Swampscott; five grandchildren, Patrick and Gina Pica, cody and Samantha Maher, and Frances Bennett; his father Mahlon W. Richardson of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister Julia Barnard of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces Kim Wills & her husband Mike and Laurie Tuppence & her husband Dan all of FL, and a nephew Bill Brown of FL. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday March 28, 2013 from 9:30 to 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Urn burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
