Obituary of Mary B Magesky
Mary B. Magesky, 91, of Peabody, died peacefully on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Adolph A. “Ace” Magesky.
Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Sarakowska) Kiewlicz. She was raised and educated in Chelsea and has lived in Peabody for the past 40 years.
Mary was employed at the former Everlastic Company in Chelsea and as a weaver during World War II and continued to work there for 18 years. While living in Chelsea she was a member St. Stanislaus Church and CYO at Sacred Heart of Jesus. Upon moving to Peabody, Mary was employed at Morgan Memorial in Peabody Square for over 14 years before she finally retired. In her retirement, Mary enjoyed attending Torigian Community Life Center in Peabody and also shopping at Liberty Tree Mall.
Mary is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and was predeceased by her four brothers, Anthony, Stanley, Peter and Casimir Kiewlicz and her two sisters, Ann Norinkiewicz and Josephine De Schuytner
As per her wishes, Mary was cremated without any services, however, donations can be made in her name to either, the Torigian Community Life Center, 79 Central St, Peabody, MA 01960 of the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA01923.
