Obituary of Roberta Petkus Manos

Roberta (Quill) Petkus Manos, 88, of Peabody, died early Sunday evening at the Rosewood Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Petkus and former wife of William Manos. Born in Peabody, she as the daughter of the late John and Mary (McLellan) Quill. She was a lifelong resident of the city, attended Peabody Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked for over 30 years for General Electric in Wilmington as an inspector and was a member of IUE/AFLCIO. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and playing cards. She is survived by a daughter Linda E. Petkus of Peabody. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody at 9:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 4 until 7 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
