Obituary of Nicholas A. Miele

Nicholas A. Miele PEABODY—Nicholas A. Miele, 86, beloved husband of the late Carmella (Faldetta) Miele, died peacefully at his home on Sunday evening April 14, 2013. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Marco and Vincenzina (De Cellis) Miele. He grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. He continued his education studying accountancy at Bentley College. Mr. Miele was a long time Purchasing Agent with the Spaulding Company before retiring. Nick enjoyed playing card games and poker, watching the dogs run at Wonderland, yet was basically a homebody who enjoyed family gatherings at his home. He is survived by his companion Eileen Keating of Peabody, and he leaves several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Paul Miele, Maurice Miele, Mary Fox, and Anne Cardosi. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday April 19, 2013 at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Grove St. Lynnfield. Visiting hours on Thursday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
