Obituary of Perry G. Galli

Beverly, March 24, 2003. Perry Galiatsatos Galli, 68, of Beverly, died early Monday afternoon at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Romania, he was the son of Petrina (Christea) Galiatsatos of Beverly and the late George Galiatsatos. He was raised and educated in Greece and in 1956 immigrated to Baltimore, MD where lived for over 45 years, and has spent the last three years living in Beverly. He owned and operated his own Jewelry Store in Baltimore for 20 years and later worked for Westing House for over ten years before retiring to Beverly 3 years ago. He enjoyed Coin and Stamp Collecting. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George P. and Lori Galli of Baltimore Md., three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Margarita Galiatsatos of Salem, Paul and Linda Galiatsatos of Beverly, and Omeros and Deborah Galiatsatos of Danvers; a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Robert Michaud of Brentwood, NH; a granddaughter, Hannah Galli of Baltimore, Md., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Bordeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Burial in Central Cemetery, Beverly.
