Obituary of Barbara M. (Alley) Praino

Barbara M. Praino PEABODY—Barbara M. (Alley) Praino, 79, died peacefully on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at the Hunt Retirement & Skilled Nursing Center in Danvers following an extended illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Forest L. and Marie L. (Comeau) Alley. She grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School. She lived in Peabody for the last 37 years. Ms. Praino worked for the Gem Group in Lawrence as an Accounts Receivable Clerk for 15 years before retiring 10 years ago. She also was a Hostess with Sam & Joe’s in Danvers for 10 years. Barbara enjoyed a wide range of music and going to the theater. She will be remembered for her loving dedication to her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by two daughters Denise Lucier & her husband James Jones of Peabody and Cathleen & her husband Robert Jones of FL; five grandchildren, Cheryl & Jeff Houser, Crystal & John Davenport, Samantha Kelly & Terrence Martin, Megan Kelly & Greg Babcock, and Christen & Michael Chados; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayln Houser, Aaron Houser, Raenne Root, Jenna Root, Devin Davenport, Shana Davenport, John Davenport, Jr., Jaylin Babcock, Xavier Martin, and Sophia Chados; her brother Robert & his wife Marjorie Alley of Long Island, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons Jeffrey Lucier and Andrew Lucier. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
