Obituary of Daniel L. "The Goat" Walker

Daniel L. “The Goat” Walker, 31 PEABODY—Daniel L.”The Goat” Walker, 31, died early Friday morning May 24, 2013 from injuries sustained in a car accident on Walnut St. in Peabody. Born in Salem, he was the son of Daniel Ryan and Diane Walker of Peabody. He was a lifelong resident of the city, and attended Peabody Vocational High School. Dan studied automotive and worked with T & M Auto for several years as a Mechanic, and also had worked at Bonkers in Peabody. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Peabody and recently a member of the Moose Lodge of Salem. He enjoyed playing darts with the Court House Pub Team, and was an avid Bruins fan. He was an outgoing person who easily made friends, and got his nickname “The Goat” from his goatee beard. He is survived by his parents, Daniel Ryan and Diane Walker of Peabody; two sisters, Michelle Muise & her fiancé Joe LoIacono and Sherrie Muise & her husband Phil David all of Peabody; two nieces and a nephew, Celina Muise, Amanda David, and Justin David all of Peabody; his grandmother, Joan Walker of Peabody; his maternal aunts and uncles, Gayle & her husband Brian MacDonald of Topsfield, Nancy Walker of Peabody, and Michael Walker of Fall River; his paternal aunts and uncles, , Michael Ryan, Ann Cadoret, Mark Ryan, Phil Ryan all of Danvers, Paul Ryan and Mary Baga both of Peabody, and Patricia Spencer of Hamilton. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to his Funeral Service on Thursday May 30, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
