Robert M. Cloutier
SALEM—Robert M. Cloutier, 62, died Sunday June 2, 2013 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mildred (O’Connor) Cloutier, Sr. He grew up in Salem and graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1969, where he excelled in school and sports on the Track Team. He enrolled and attended Salem State College for medical studies.
He then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably during the Vietnam War. He continued his medical training at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.
Robert married when returned from his patriotic duty. He was a major sports fan who loved the Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. He loved Salem Willows, current events, and electronic gaming. His talents ranged from whipping ingredients together for his cooking skills, he was a strong swimmer, personal auto mechanic, and was well-read. He was an intellectual who accepted everyone, and relished the opportunity to help someone in need. He was well loved by his family, and will be dearly missed. His love will be always felt, as he was a man of peace, unconditional love so Heaven will be his reward in eternity.
He is survived by his sons and daughter, Stefany Taviani, Gabriel Cloutier, Michael Cloutier, and Alex Cloutier; a granddaughter KitanaLisa; his twin brother Richard Cloutier, brother Arthur Cloutier, and sister Rosemarie Cloutier, and two nieces Michelle Cloutier and Marie Hermes. He was the former husband of Sonja.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday June 14, 2013 at 11 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody. Urn burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
