Obituary of Nancy Louise (Hall) Thrasivoulos

Nancy Louise (Hall) Thrasivoulos, 80, of Peabody, died peacefully Thursday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the loving wife of 56 years to Retired Peabody Firefighter Theodore “Teddy” Thrasivoulos. She was born in Salem, Ma, the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Leola (Goodwin) Hall and was raised there graduating from Salem High School. In 1957 she entered and won the MISS SALEM beauty contest. Nancy loved to sew and take trips down to Salem Willows. She was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed surfcasting in the waters at Plum Island and Martha’s Vineyard. She also loved to travel to Europe and had gone five times on Mother’s Day to Bermuda. Her most enjoyment was the raising of her two children. She is survived by her husband, Teddy, a son, John Thrasivoulos of Peabody, a daughter, Roxana Thrasivoulos and her companion, Joseph McLean both of North Reading . A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. A private Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
