Obituary of Elizabeth R. Pucciarella

Elizabeth R. Pucciarella, 85 years, of Peabody died Tuesday April 1, 2003 at the Rosewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. Miss Pucciarella was born June 2, 1917 in Boston, daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Potenza) Pucciarella. She was raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School class of 1934. She resided in Boston for most of her life moving to Peabody a few years ago. Miss Pucciarella was employed for 40 years at the former Jordan Marsh in Boston retiring in 1983 as the manager of their Stamp Collecting department. She was a member and communicant at the Sacred Heart Church in Boston prior to moving to Peabody. She was a member and former President of the Chatterbox Club of Boston and also traveled extensively. She is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law, Rita and James O’ Brien, Jean and Frederick Rossi all of Saugus and Eleanor Losco of Everett; a niece and nephew, Anne Marie and Thomas Koniares of Peabody with whom she resided and several other nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was also the sister of the late Lawrence Larry Pucciarella and Anna Millette. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody, Relatives and friends may pay their respects Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, at the 20 Church St., Peabody location 978.531.0472. Burial in St. Michael’ s Cemetery, Roslindale. Memorial contributions may be made to the National M.S. Foundation, 101A First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
