Obituary of Annastatia E Driscoll

Peabody, April 3, 2003. Annastatia E. Driscoll, 93, of Peabody, died Thursday afternoon at the Pilgrim Nursing Home, following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles J. Driscoll. Born and raised in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Josephine (Flynn) Crawford. She attended Danvers Public Schools and was a graduate of Danvers High School. She later moved to Peabody and has spent the last 70 years living in Peabody. Prior to her retirement in 1956, she had worked for over 30 years at Ideal Baby Shoe in Danvers as a hand lacer. She is survived by two nephews, David Crawford of Newton, NH and Peter Crawford of Lynn and several other nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Augustine Bud Crawford, John Crawford, Bennett Crawford, Mary J. Crawford and Sr. Benedictus (Alice) Crawford. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Sunday from 3-6 PM. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
