Obituary of Jean C. (Roberts) (Celani) McKinley

Jean C. (Roberts) (Celani) McKinley, 72, died at her home on Forest St. on Tuesday morning following a long illness. She was the former of the late William McKinley and former wife of the Rocco Celani. Born in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Lillian (Budd) Roberts. She lived in Malden during her youth, later lived in Lynn and has lived in Peabody for the last 15 years. She first was employed with the Avon Company in both California and Massachusetts and later was employed with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where she served as a Quality Control Inspector for 15 years before retiring three years ago. She enjoyed travel, whether to Foxwood’ s or Las Vegas for gaming action, and especially on cruise lines throughout the world as her fondest memories were going to Disneyland in California with her children. She also was artistic, creating works in painting and in ceramics. She is survived by: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Leeann & Dennis Reyes of Peabody, Linda & Timothy Hall of Springtown, TX, and Lois Dunlop of NH; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roy & Mary Celani and Steven & Carla Celani, both of Peabody, and Dean Celani & his longtime companion Cindy of CA. She is also survived by three brothers, Robert & Judy Roberts of NH, Clifford Roberts of FL, and Ronald Roberts of Lynn; two sisters, Mary Collins of NH and Laurel Roberts of Lynn, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
