Obituary of Regina (Bjelovuk) Kallelis

Regina (Bjelovuk) Kallelis LYNN—Regina (Bjelovuk) Kallelis, 59, beloved wife of Charles Kallelis of Lynn, died Tuesday evening July 23, 2013 at the North Shore Medical Center—Union Hospital in Lynn, following an extended illness. Born in Augsburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Karolina (Faul) Bjevoluk of Germany and the late Slavko Bjevoluk. She grew up there and received her education in Germany. She met her husband Charles while he was stationed with the U.S. Army and a life with 41 years of cherished memories started. They lived in Germany, then moved to Lynn, returned to Germany, and then again returned to live in Lynn for many years. Mrs. Kallelis worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) with Lenox Hill and stayed through the transition to MediPlex before a new business replaced them. Regina enjoyed doing crochet and watching Lifetime channel. An intelligent woman, she had a strong passion for reading and German Romance novels were her thrill. She was very devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by them, and their gratitude for her life remains. She is survived by her husband, Charles Kallelis of Lynn, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage; three sons, Richard & his wife Beth Kallelis of Derry, NH, Charles & his wife Sofia Kallelis of Pennsauken, NJ, and Michael Kallelis of Lynn; a daughter, Jennifer Kallelis of Lynn; her mother, Karolina Bjevoluk of Germany; eight grandchildren, Staci Mason, Amber Mason, and Nicholas Kallelis all of Derry, NH, Jonathan Dominguez, Daphne Kallelis, and Charles Kallelis, Jr. all of Pennsauken, NJ, and Madyson Kallelis and Michael Kallelis, Jr. both of Lynn; three sisters, Anna Ratzinger, Maria “Mya” Loew, and Manuela Kahraman all of Germany, and several nieces and nephews on the North Shore and in Germany.
