Obituary of Carolyn Mary (Cronan) Pelletier

Carolyn Mary Cronan Pelletier, 53, of Beverly, died peacefully Tuesday morning after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was raised in Peabody and was a graduate of PeabodyHigh School. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Michael Pelletier and her parents, John and Joan (Bois) Cronan of Wenham, her sister Rosemary Astrofsky and her husband Scott of Lynnfield and also her two brothers, Kevin Cronan and his wife Terri of Danvers and Mark E. Cronan of Taunton. She also leaves many nieces and nephews whom she cared dearly about. She was very proud of her nephew John Cronan who served in Iraq as a Marine and is now a professional diver as well as two nieces who are registered nurses and especially her niece Sarah Cronan Aiello, her God daughter, who is a licensed social worker. Carolyn worked in retail her whole life and spent many hours with her extended family at Macy’s at the North Shore Mall in Peabody. Lisa Katz, long time loyal friend and colleagues and customers bought Carolyn great joy and fulfillment. Carolyn’s family would like to thank the many people at Macy’s who helped Carolyn through her battle with cancer and allowed her to live with dignity and purpose as well as the Hospice of the North Shore and the Kaplan House who provided her with great care and comfort. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., PeabodyMA facility. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Lynn St., So.Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in CedarGroveCemetery, Peabody.
