Obituary of Virgina Reynolds Hurd

Virginia Reynolds Hurd, 96, died peacefully at her home at BrooksbyVillage, Peabody, on August 26. She was born November 14, 1916, in Lusk, Wyoming and was married to the late Dr. Frank Kerr Signaigo of Wilmington Delaware and Jupiter FL, then to the late William Laing of Newport Beach, CA and Jupiter FL, and then to the late Donaldson Hurd of Stuart FL, before moving to Cambridge, then to Peabody. She is survived by her partner Morton J Netzorg, her daughters Ellen Signaigo Brockman and Therese E Signaigo, both of Somerville, her son John Francis Signaigo of Baltimore MD, two grandsons, John Mark McMahon of Somerville and Melrose and James Andrew Brockman of Concord, formerly of Cambridge, two great-grandsons Jonah and Soren Brockman of Concord. She was also the grandmother of the late Mark Reynolds Brockman of Boston, and mother-in-law of the late John D. McMahon of Somerville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand-daughter-in-law Heather Dumont Brockman, and step-children Connie Laing Jones of Irvine, CA, Ken Hurd of Lincoln, Joanne Hurd of Gloucester and Barbara Hurd of Frostburg MD. Services are private.
