Obituary of Grace M (Mallia) Dutille
Grace M. (Mallia) Dutille, of Peabody, died peacefully early Tuesday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Leonard W. Dutille. She was born in Middlebury, Vermont on November 4, 1924, the daughter of the late John and Palma (Belluardo) Mallia and was raised in Peabody MA graduating from Peabody High School in 1942.
Grace and her husband had resided in Harwich, MA for over 30 years before moving back to Peabody. She had been a junior clerk with the Dept. of Public Safety for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 11 years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed going golfing, knitting and sewing articles for her family and reading good stories. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at Avalon.
She is survived by two sisters, Sarah Cena of Peabody and Carmen Stortstrom of Maryland, her niece, Maryann McDonald of Lynn , and many other nieces and nephews. She was the sister and sister-in-law of the late Sally Dullea and Jack Dullea, Mary Zorzonello and Eugene Zorzonello, Dr. John Cena and Ralph Stortstrom.
A Visitation will be held at the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility on Friday morning from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM followed by Services there at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn MA. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of the NorthShore, 75 Sylvan St.,Suite 102B. Danvers, MA 01923 in her memory.
