Obituary of Susan M. (Dunn) White

Susan M. (Dunn) White, 55, of Peabody died Wednesday evening at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Gary D. White. She was born in Queens, NY, on June 4, 1958, the daughter of Irene L. (Watson) Dunn Rando and the late John Dunn. She was raised in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Vets. MemorialHigh School in 1976. Susan first worked as a teller in the Banking industry and later worked in retail sales including the Yankee Candle Company store at the North Shore Mall for the past 6 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed taking vacations with her family. A very caring person, she loved meeting and sharing with others and her greatest joy was being with her family, particularly her grandson, Dylan. She had a great sense of humor and loved her coffee and breakfast food. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Stefanie and Greg Rogers and a son, Matthew White all of Peabody, her mother and step-father, Irene and Thomas Rando of Lexington, her siblings and their spouses, John D. and Joyce Dunn of Danvers, and Elizabeth A. and Daniel Gauthier of Salem, her grandson, Dylan Rogers of Peabody, her brother-in-laws and their spouses, David and Carol White of Peabody and Mike and Gail White of New Jersey , her father-in-law, Murray White of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jennifer Lee White. A visitation will be held on Sunday September 15, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
