Obituary of Genowefa Grzadko

Genowefa Grzadko, 84, of Peabody, died Sunday at the NSMC – SalemHospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Stanley Grzadko. She was born in Poland on May 9, 1929, the daughter of the late Michael and Maria (Marciniszen) Dzwiniarski and was raised there before immigrating to Peabody in 1962. She had been employed as a seamstress with the New England Sportswear in Peabody for over 10 years prior to her retirement. Genowefa had been a nurturer to her family which she cherished and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was a member of St. John the BaptistChurch in Salem and enjoyed going to the activities at the TorigianCenter in Peabody. She is survived by her son, John Grzadko of Peabody her grandchildren, Bernadeta Callor of Lynn, Susan Colella and Patricia Grzadko both of Saugus and David Grzadko Terchiak of Chelsea, a great grandson, Krystian Callor of Lynn and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph Grzadko. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Salem at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
