Obituary of Eolanda "Yolie" (DiFabio) Scaringi

Eolanda “Yolie” (DiFabio) Scaringi, 91 of West Peabody, died Tuesday at the Rosewood Nursing Center , Peabody. She was the wife of the late Jack Scaringi. She was born in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Fiorinda and Grace (LoMonoco) DiFabio. Following her wedding in 1941, she moved to Massachusetts and had resided in Cambridge, Somerville and Peabody. Yolie was a skilled artesian and enjoyed working with crafts, doing her quilting and her paintings. She also liked doing Bunka, embroidery, knitting and ceramics. She was a member of the West Congregational Church in Peabody. She is survived by her daughters, Eileen Charlotte Scaringi of Peabody and Carolyn and her husband Steve Doolan of Tacoma, Washington, her grandchildren David Tutko and his husband Jason Joly of Danvers and Michael and his wife Holly Tutko of Concord, NH, two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Owen Tutko both of Concord, NH, her sister Pat and her husband Frank Bellapianta of Rochester, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Priscilla and her husband Tom Tutko of Danvers and the sister of the late Filomena “Minnie” Burns and Angelina “Annie” Di Pasquale. A Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the West Congregational Church, 27 Johnson St., West Peabody followed by her Services there at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
