Obituary of Phyllis M. (Curran) Davidson

Phyllis M. Davidson, 76, wife of the late Robert D. Davidson with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage, passed away at the Rosewood Nursing Home, Peabody following several bouts of cancer. She was a life long resident of Peabody and recently resided at Brooksby Village in Peabody. Mrs. Davidson was born in Peabody, daughter of the late John M. and Frances M. (Donahue) Curran. She had been employed as a secretary at the Eastman Geletine Corp. of Peabody for over 15 years. Later she became a hearing examiner for a short time with the Peabody Public Schools prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Peabody Council on Aging and the Lynn Yacht Club. She is survived by a sister, Eleanor Dembowski of Peabody; 2 nephews, Michael Dembowski of Charlestown and Mitchell Dembowski of Wilmington, and many grandchildren, cousins and the Davidson Family. She was pre-deceased by her son, John Davidson; her daughter Jeanne Zec, and a grandson, Michael Davidson. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’ s Church, So. Peabody at 9:00 A.M.. Internment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
