Obituary of Francis Xavier Geer

Francis X. Geer 84, husband of the late Josephine (Pandolph) Geer passed away at Sunrise Senior Living in Peabody on Thursday October 3, 2013. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Collins) Geer. He graduated from East Boston High School and then served in the United States Army during World War II. Upon his honorable discharge, Mr. Geer went on to a lengthy career as a civilian engineer at the Charlestown Naval Yard. Mr. Geer was proud of his military service and was very active with the Veterans of Foreign War, Post 6712 in Revere. He is survived by his brother John, and his sister and brother-in-law Donald and Rose Marie Grennan of Peabody, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Geer was predeceased by three brothers Daniel, James and Paul Geer Relatives and friends are kindly invited to his service on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody, MA.
