PEABODY—Paul P. Adamopoulos, 63, beloved husband of Elaine (Pinto) Adamopoulos of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Thursday October 10, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
He was the son of the late Peter and Angeliko “Angie” (Andrianopoulos) Adamopoulos, and was a lifelong Peabody resident. He graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1967. He then entered the National Guard.
Mr. Adamopoulos was Owner/Operator of the Athens Bakery in Salem for 30 years. He most recently was working at Home Depot.
Paul enjoyed living quietly, and traveling to St. Martin with family and friends each year.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Pinto) Adamopoulos of Peabody, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage; two daughters, Lisa Adamopoulos and Andrea Adamopoulos, both of Peabody; three grandchildren, Chase, Brodie and Colin.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Tuesday October 15, 2013 for a visitation from 9 – 11 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, Suite 101, Natick, MA 01760.
