Obituary of Antoinette Guzowski

Antoinette Ida Guzowski, died late Friday evening at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Guzowski. Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Anelia (Sinkevich) Paltanovich. She was a lifelong resident of the city and had attended Peabody Public Schools. She had worked for over 20 years as a binder for the Page & Goodwin Printing Company of Peabody and had also worked for Spaulding Caterers' of Danvers, prior to retiring many years ago. She was a communicant of St Thomas the Apostle Church in Peabody. She is survived by a brother, Albert Palton of Sparks, Nevada; a brother-in-law, Chester Guzowski of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Paltanovich, Ann Woodworth and Mary Agnes Luz. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility (978) 531-0398, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Monday from 4-7 PM. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
