Obituary of Ruth (Porter) Bingle
Ruth (Porter) Bingle, 86years, Danvers, died unexpectedly Friday at her home. She was the wife of the late John Bill Bingle.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Hazel (Arnold) Porter and
was raised in Swampscott graduating from Swampscott High School and later from
Burdett College in Lynn.
She had resided in Lynnfield for many years before moving to Danvers 20 years ago.
She had been a member of the Salem Country Club and enjoyed playing golf and bridge there for many years.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Anne Bonnie (Breed) Bingle of Gloucester and a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Redmond Staunton of
West Peabody; 6 grandchildren, Darryl Ann Mc Carthy and Redmond Ted Staunton both of Peabody, John B. Bingle III, Betsy Hood Bingle, Taylor Breed Bingle and Porter Bingle all of Gloucester, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur
Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Burial will be in Pine Grove
Cemetery, Lynn.
