Obituary of Francis M. "Frank" Marshall

Francis M. “Frank” Marshall PEABODY--Francis M. Marshall, Jr., 70, beloved husband of the late Carol Ann (Marino) Marshall, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday November 5, 2013, while in the comforting presence of his family. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Francis and Anna Mae (Barcellos) Marshall. He grew up there and graduated from Cambridge High & Latin High School, Class of 1962. Mr. Marshall worked as a product developer with Kayem Foods of Chelsea for 42 years. He recently changed careers and was a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) for Associated Home Health Care of Beverly until his retirement a year ago. Frank was a CCD Teacher at St. Anthony’s Church in Cambridge before moving to Peabody where he lived for 38 years. He also was Boy Scout Leader, was an accomplished Ball Room Dancer, and enjoyed a gaming adventure at Foxwoods with his good friend Richard Armstrong. He will be dearly missed by family and friends, and on behalf of their father, his family would like to extend their sincere thank you to everyone for their undying love and dedication throughout his illness. He is survived by a son Francis A. & his wife Paula Marshall of Boxford; two daughters, Pamela Marshall of Saugus and Melissa Marshall of Peabody; three grandchildren, Olivia, Julia and Andrew Marshall of Boxford; a step-brother Manuel Cabral of Medford, and several cousins. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Monday November 11, 2013 at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 – 7 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to either Lahey Clinic Oncology Dept., Mall Road, Burlington, MA or to Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA.
