Obituary of Henry M. Aloisi

Henry Aloisi PEABODY Henry Aloisi, 91, beloved husband of Phyllis (Felino) Aloisi, died Monday morning at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody following a brief illness. Born in Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Louis Aloisi and the late Chester and Carmella (Fincharo) DeMaio. He came to the United States as a young boy with his family, living in East Boston in his youth. He graduated from East Boston High School. He lived in Winthrop for several years, and in Medford for a short time before moving to Peabody where he lived for the last 48 years. Mr. Aloisi was a Licensed Electrician, and worked at the General Electric Riverworks Plant in Lynn for over 25 years before retiring 29 years ago. He was a general sports fan, as he enjoyed the Celtics and Patriots, and especially liked baseball and the Red Sox. He was a very capable, skilled handyman around his house, and loved music, mostly from the 30’ s through 50’ s. He is survived by: his wife, Phyllis (Felino) Aloisi of Peabody, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage; a son, Henry A. Aloisi of Peabody; one brother, Leo DeMaio of Winthrop; two sisters, Theresa Dascoli of Revere and Lena Pratto of Everett, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a 4-yr old daughter, Beatrice Ann Aloisi, and brothers Peter L. Aloisi and Armando Aloisi. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph’ s Cemetery, Lynn. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’ s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
