Obituary of Karen Joyce Cody

Karen Joyce Cody, 46, of Seabrook, NH and formerly of Peabody, MA died Monday evening at the Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH after a brief illness. She was born in Salem, MA on June 28, 1967, the daughter of Robert Cody and the late Carolyn J. (Newhall) Cody and was raised in Peabody. She later moved to Phoenix, Arizona for 6 years before moving back to Seabrook, NH 14 years ago. Karen had been a stay at home Mom. She enjoyed reading mystery and romance novels, and going to the beaches in Salisbury and Hampton. She was very fond of her cats, Coco and Bandit. She is survived by her father Robert and her step –mother Patricia M. (Hayes) Cody of Hampton, NH, a son, Jonathan Cody of Seabrook, NH, a sister, Lisa Ackerman and her husband Tom of Merrimac, MA, and a brother, Robert Cody and his wife Jacqueline of Glendale, Az., her niece Megan Ackerman of Merrimac, MA and her nephew, Patrick Cody of AZ and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, at the 82 Lynn St., PeabodyMA facility. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
