Obituary of James Phelan Williams
James Phelan Williams, 25, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Sunday evening at the Lahey Clinic in Peabody after being stricken at home.
Born in Peabody, he was the son of Richard and Patricia (Durand) Williams of Peabody. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody, attended Peabody Schools and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1997.
He was an independent contractor for the George Weston Bakeries, Inc in Woburn, who drove his own delivery truck, delivering bread in the greater Boston area. He also was an avid drummer who played with the band Inner Truth and enjoyed watching all of Boston’ s professional sports teams with his friends.
Besides his loving parents, he is survived by a brother, Gary Williams of Peabody, his paternal grandmother Rita Williams of Peabody, his aunts and uncles, Roger and Pat Williams of Beverly, Ed and Adrienne Mavragis of Ipswich, and Ralph and Ellen Viger of Peabody and is also survived by his girlfriend Jen LaCorcia of Peabody and several cousins.
His funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Thursday from 3 until 7 PM Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
