Obituary of Jason P. Woods

Jason P. Woods, 43, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Monday morning at his home. Born in Salem, he was the son of Peter P. Woods of Newburyport and Sandra (Cunningham) Lavoie and her husband Norman of Lynn. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Vocational High School, class of 1989. Jason was currently employed as a machinist for Styles Engineering in Peabody for the last several years. He also enjoyed doing carpentry work, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his daughter. Besides his loving parents, Jason is survived by his daughter De Anna R Woods of Peabody, his God Parents, Linda Stoey of Peabody and Henry St. Armand of Beverly, his surrogate father, James “Pops” Riley of Peabody, his step-siblings James Riley and Sandra Boule, both of Danvers, Jennifer Amnott of NH, and Allison Caron of NH, and is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.
