Obituary of Jeanette M King

Jeanette M. King, 90, of Beverly and formerly of Lynn, died Friday afternoon at the Aviv Center for Living in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Calvin E. King. Born in Plymouth, NH, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Agnes (Warden) Page. She was raised and educated in Lynn and upon marrying her husband Calvin, moved to Beverly where she raised her family. Jeanette was employed as a bookkeeper for over 40 years, first in Lynn at General Electric and before her retirement, at Moore Brothers in Beverly. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox and enjoyed knitting and reading. She also taught religion classes at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Beverly for over 20 years. Jeanette is survived by her son Roger King of Beverly and his wife Susan and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her son Paul King and brother Donald Page. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 4 Ocean Street, Beverly, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
