Warren M. “Skip” Esposito
PEABODY—Warren M. “Skip” Esposito, 62, of Lynn & formerly of Peabody, beloved husband of Barbara (Dabrieo) Esposito, died peacefully at the North Shore Medical Center—Union Hospital in Lynn, after a brief illness, while in the comforting presence of his family.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of Ruth (Burnham) Esposito of Newburyport
the late Warren Esposito. He grew up in Peabody and attended Peabody schools. He lived in Peabody most of his life, and recently moved to Lynn.
He enlisted in the United States Army, with service in the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Germany.
Mr. Esposito was a Machinist with General Electric in Lynn for 15 years. He later worked in Corporate Security until retiring four years ago with health issues.
“Skip” was an avid Red Sox fan, and generally just enjoyed baseball. He liked fishing, camping, trading baseball cards, and loved animals especially his Yorkie dog Scruffy. He was most passionate about his family, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who he cherished very much.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Dabrieo) Esposito of Lynn, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage; a son Brad Esposito & his partner Kristen Hudson of Reading; three daughters Bethany Esposito & her life partner Stephen Terzian of Spencer, MA, Jaclyn Esposito & her partner Chris Powers and Jessica & her husband Sean Crowley all of Lynn; four grandchildren, Joseph Santerre and Makayla Crowley of Lynn and Tyler & Bradley Esposito of Reading; his mother Ruth (Burnham) Esposito of Newburyport; five brothers Nick & his wife Susan Esposito of Lakeville, David & his wife Lynn Esposito of Newburyport, James & his wife Lisa Esposito of Fremont, NH, Gary Esposito of Miami, FL, and Glenn Esposito of Lee, NH; a sister Janet & her husband Jim Keay of Raynham, and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & great-nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the Mass. Memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline
