Obituary of William E Bozarth

William E Bozarth, 80, of Beverly and formerly of Salem, died Wednesday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Judith (Hall) Bozarth with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage. Born in Pawhuska, OK, he was the son of the late Greer and Marion (Downing) Bozarth. He was raised and educated in Lynn, later moved to Salem and has spent the last 15 years living in Beverly. Bill was employed for over 35 years at the former Parker Brothers Company is Salem as a stockroom and inventory clerk before retiring. He enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross and at the Shaughnessy Hospital in Salem. He also enjoyed square dancing and writing poems as well. Besides his loving wife Judith, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by his siblings, Alan Granthem, Lois Brown, and Zelda Bozarth. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at the Church in the Cove, 167 Hale St., Beverly to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
