Obituary of Randall S. "Randy" Maurais

Randall “Randy” S. Maurais PEABODY—Randall “Randy” S. Maurais, 49, died unexpectedly on Sunday February 16, 2014 in the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH as a result of injuries sustained in a fall. Born in Salem, he was the son of Joseph and April (Melanson) Maurais of Peabody. He was a lifelong resident of the city and graduated from Peabody High School. Randy was gifted as a laborer, and worked with several contractors, landscapers and other trades. He enjoyed working out, and practiced Martial Arts. He would often walk along the beach, and would be able to fix anything around the house besides tinkering with cars to be sure they were in top condition. He is survived by his parents Joseph & April (Melanson) Maurais of Peabody; a son and two daughters, Randall Maurais of Lynn, Jessica Maurais of Peabody, and Alysha Maurais of Lynn; a grandson Josearmando Ventura of Lynn; his grandmother Dorilla Dombrowski; a brother Joseph Maurais of New Bedford; two sisters Donna Maurais of Peabody and Cheryle Sharkey of Lynn, a close companion Courtney Taylor of NH, and several nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Damaris Piantini. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday February 20, 2014 from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Ceremony at 1:30 P.M. Cremation will follow the ceremony.
