Obituary of Cheryle Ida Seidman

Cheryle Ida Seidman, 52, of Peabody, died Monday afternoon at Union Hospital in Lynn following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Marc Seidman with whom she shared over 26 years of marriage. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Michael Roomey and the late Marcia (Kaplan) Roomey. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1980. Cheryle was a vibrant outgoing person who loved life. She enjoyed playing pool and cards, as well as bowling and watching old movies. She is survived by her loving husband and father, her brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Jolan Roomey of Sandwich, her sister, Joanne Roomey and her fiancé Rich Bordonaro of Peabody and by several nieces, nephews, and five great nieces. A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, 89 South St., # 802, Boston, MA 02111.
