Obituary of Thomas F. Ward Jr.

Thomas F. Ward Jr., 71, of Beverly and formerly of Peabody died Sunday evening at the Beverly Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Beverly on July 3, 1934, the son of the late Thomas F. and Mary B. (Dionne) Ward Sr. and was raised in Peabody. He attended St. John’ s Grammar School and Peabody High School and since his Disability resided in many different nursing homes on the North Shore and central Massachusetts. While in Peabody, he had belonged to the Leo Council Knights of Columbus and the Lugo Caravan Order of Alhambra and was active in their programs. He is survived by a brother, John Ward of Salem, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. His Funeral will be held on Friday at 8:15 AM from the Funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
