Obituary of Kristina M. "Tina" (Fournier) Teixeira

Kristina M. “Tina” (Fournier) Teixeira, 42, died at the NSMC – Salem Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2014 after being stricken at her home. Tina was born in Peabody, on September 3, 1971, the daughter of Pauline A. (Rubin) Fournier and the late Robert A. Fournier. She was raised and educated in Peabody and received her Paralegal Associates Degree from North Shore Community College. Tina was presently employed as a scheduler at Lahey Health Home Care in Beverly. She was a loving mother who devoted her life creating a home for her 2 sons. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking polish food, crafts, knitting and going to the beach. In addition to her mother Pauline of Peabody, Tina is survived by her 2 sons, Brandon R. Fournier and Nicholas J. Teixeira both of Peabody; her maternal grandmother, Helen Rubin of Danvers; her siblings and spouses, Robert and Maryesther Fournier of Waltham, Susan and Robert Steinmetz of WI, Peter and Kathy Fournier of FL, Paul Fournier and his partner Louis Wolff of Salem, and Andre and Stacey Fournier of TX; her best friend, Kara Tremblay of Danvers, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Tina’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Tina’s memory to Autism Speaks, www.autismspeaks.org .
