Obituary of Stella R. (Roumeliotis) Kotronis

Stella R. (Roumeliotis) Kotronis, of Marblehead Died Thursday at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Dr. Demosthenes C. Kotronis with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Costas and Demetra(Strateigareas) Roumeliotis, and had resided in Marblehead for the past 34 years. She was an active member of St. Vasilios Church in Peabody with the Philoptohos Society and the Daughters of Penelope. She had been a member of the Museum of Fine Arts of Boston and the No. Shore Helenic Woman’ s Guild. She was also a member of the American Medical Association Ladies Auxilliary. She was an accomplished artist with many works and was also a gourmet cook. She loved spending time with her seven Grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband are 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law,Georgia and Scott Olson, and Christina and Paul Reulbach both of Marblehead, and Joan and Ted Klemm of Salem; a brother, Luis Roumeliotis and a sister, Frances Havelick both of Peabody; 7 grandchildren, Alexandra and Erik Olson, Zachary and Nicole Klemm , and Emma, Carissa and Nicholas Ruelbach and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Service in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
