Obituary of Marjorie Waring
Marjorie Waring, 94, of Peabody, died Saturday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold B Waring, Sr.
Born in Beersville, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Thomasina (Clair) Glencross. She was raised and educated Canada, later lived in Peabody, then in Bristol, NH for over 45 years before finally returning to Peabody 13 years ago.
While living in New Hampshire, Marjorie spent most of her time with the family business. She enjoyed traveling to Canada, Hawaii, and Florida.
She is survived by her three sons, Edward Roads, Harold Waring and Alan Waring, all of Peabody and is also survived by her five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Glenn Waring.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
